October 29, 1969 – The first computer-to-computer link was established on ARPANET

The precursor to the Internet, ARPANET became the technical foundation for the Internet. Paul Baran first introduced the idea. He was instructed to come up with a plan for a computer communications network that could survive nuclear attack and continue functioning. Describe a world where the Internet suddenly crashed and would no longer be available.
